Allen Meadows: (from vines on the Chassagne side). Softly fragrantand highly complex notes of mature citrus and dried flowers lead toenormous, round and extremely rich big-bodied flavors that delivertremendous mid-palate impact and then build in intensity to asuperbly long back end. It's impressive how such a big wine canremain refined and classy and in perfect balance. For my taste,this has arrived at its peak and though it should continue to holdfor years to come, I do not see any further improvement in theoffing. A seriously lovely effort.
