Allen Meadows: This still hasn't fully integrated all of its woodthough its presence doesn't seem to materially inhibit theexpressiveness of the ripe and still mostly primary aromas of bothred and dark pinot fruit, spice, floral and hoisin. There isoutstanding richness to the moderately concentrated thoughimpressively powerful medium weight plus flavors that possessplenty of muscle while delivering excellent length on the veryserious and ever-so-slightly rustic finale. Like the '05 Riche thisalso seems to lack a bit of vibrancy but that is a nit rather thana significant problem. I should further note that like many upperlevel '05s today this is nowhere near its peak and at least another10 years will be required.
