Description
Allen Meadows: A mildly toasty nose displays a lovely array of
elegant and distinctly cool aromas of both red and dark cherry,
soft floral hints and a touch of earth. The usual sense of
refinement one expects from Petite Chapelle is present on the
intense, mineral-inflected and precise middle weight flavors that
exhibit plenty of underlying tension on the focused, firm, linear
and solidly powerful finish. This mildly austere but beautifully
textured effort will definitely need at least a few years of aging
first.
