Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Medium garnet in color, the 2004 ShirazCommand Elderton Estate is a little mute at this stage, revealingsubtle to moderate aromas of leather, sandalwood and spice overwarm blackberry plus some mocha. Full-bodied with medium-firm finetannins, complex evolving flavors and a great line of acid, thefinish is very long. Give it another year or 2 for the nose toemerge from this closed stage and drink it 2012 to 2022+.
