Robert Parker: A very pleasant, medium-bodied, fleshy Pomerol. Afully mature nose of smoke, roasted vegetables, dried herbs, sweetcurrants, and caramel, medium to full body on the attack, but somedrying even desiccating tannins in the finish make for a very goodbut somewhat uninspiring effort from Latour a Pomerol. Anticipatedmaturity: Now-2012. Last tasted, 1/02.
