Monica Larner: The 2010 Bolgheri Rosso Coronato (a blend of
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot) is a
gorgeous wine that shows the generous sunshine of coastal Tuscany.
It opens with a thick, dark color and opulent tones of black fruit,
pipe tobacco, bitter chocolate and candied cherry. The wine shows
robust consistency with soft tannins and a seductive touch of
sweetness on the close. The 2010 vintage will be released in 2014.
