Description
Allen Meadows: A very Gevrey-like nose reflects notes of earth,
game and underbrush on the mostly dark berry fruit aromas. Here too
there is good freshness and verve adding lift to the
velvet-textured medium weight flavors that possess good volume as
well as riper tannins on the youthfully austere, complex and
persistent finish. This should reward 6 to 8 years of cellaring yet
be approachable young.
