Description
Allen Meadows: This was a really beautiful wine from barrel with
absolutely no hint of the intense herbal character that is displays
today. There is still ample spice and stone character that one
would typically expect but the greenness of the nose is certainly
pronounced and while the middle weight flavors are delicious as
well as admirably persistent, the overall impression is disjointed.
While this is by no means a bad wine, I find it to be quite curious
and where it will go in the future is frankly impossible to predict
with any confidence.
