Allen Meadows: This is the ripest of the St. Aubin wines with a
mildly exotic element to the dried yellow fruit aromas that display
notes of mandarin orange and lemon peel. There is excellent
richness to the enveloping middle weight flavors that possess more
size and weight but not the vibrancy or fine detail on the
otherwise balanced and lingering finish. This is a generous but not
heavy effort that should drink well after only a year or two of
bottle age.
