Description
Allen Meadows: A strikingly fresh if markedly reserved nose
displays notes of both red and dark berries together with discreet
nuances of spice, game, humus and violets. There is terrific
intensity to the sleek, detailed and stony medium weight plus
flavors that possess focused power on the impressively long and
moderately austere finale. This is not as complex as the Grands
Echezeaux or the Romanee St. Vivant but this is still very young
and my score offers the benefit of the doubt that more will develop
with time in bottle.
