Allen Meadows: Here the nose is as reserved as the Latricieres andonly grudgingly gives up glimpses of the spicy and earthy red pinotfruit nose that is quite cool with obvious minerality, whichcontinues onto the textured, intense and nervy big-bodied flavorsthat are textured and classy with highly sophisticated tannins onthe long finish. Despite the reserved character of the nose, I wasvery pleasantly surprised at the relative accessibility thisalready displays due to the ample buffering sap yet make nomistake, the '06 Beze will successfully age for years. A knockoutthat is noticeably better in-bottle than it originally showed fromcask.
