Description
Allen Meadows: I was a bit surprised how closed this was with its
reticent nose of floral, pear, white peach and lemon rind scents.
There is good richness to the well-detailed and vibrant middle
weight flavors that enjoy a seductive texture thanks to the
abundant dry extract before culminating in a solidly persistent and
immaculately well-balanced finish that is pretty enough but not
especially complex. This of course will undoubtedly continue to add
depth but it's not clear that it's going to add quite as much as my
original review hoped that it might. In sum, while perfectly good I
confess to be slightly disappointed with how the '10 Clavoillon
showed.
