Description
Allen Meadows: Hints of wood toast and sulfur still allow the
elegant and admirably pure aromas of lemon rind, spice, dried white
flower and ripe yellow orchard fruit to freely shine. There is
excellent richness to the full-bodied and equally ripe
broad-shouldered flavors that possess plenty of dry extract and a
taut muscularity, all wrapped in a powerful and stunningly long
finish. This is an explosive wine with terrific cellar potential
and this, along with the 2005 version, is as good a B漮ard as I
have ever seen from Olivier Leflaive.
