Description
Allen Meadows: Here the nose is notably tighter and more reservedwith aromas of citrus blossom and zest, spice, smoke, fennel andhints of acacia that introduce big, muscular and wonderfullycomplex broad-scaled flavors that culminate in a long, focused andexplosive finish of breathtaking length and intensity. This shouldreward at least a decade in the cellar and drink well for a similarperiod thereafter. This too is terrific and very Batard and likethe Combettes, the '08 version is one of the very best youngexamples from Leflaive that I have ever seen.
