Description

Allen Meadows: A ripe and impressively refined nose is pure, airyand cool, indeed this is unusually elegant for the appellation withits white flower, citrus, pear, menthol, white pepper and lightspice hints. There is excellent concentration to the rich, full andbroad-shouldered flavors that possess the usual volume and power ofa classic Batard but do not lose any of the precision or detail onthe expansive, mouth coating and hugely long finish. Note that thisseems to be coming along a bit faster than my original review andthus I have reduced my initial drinking window somewhat. That said,this still needs time to develop additional depth and I would notbe inclined to open this just yet.
