Allen Meadows: This is quite ripe without being surmature withspicy earthy red and black fruit aromas trimmed in a bit of woodthat are in keeping with the big, rich and sleekly muscled flavorsthat possess a lovely natural sweetness on the powerful and drivingfinish. This isn't as elegant as the Vosne 1er trio but there'splenty here to admire plus it should reward up to a decade ofcellar slumber.
