Description
Allen Meadows: This has not yet completely absorbed the sulfur that
was added at the bottling and it is thus still firmly reduced so I
would very much advise decanting this if you're tempted to open a
bottle in the next two years or so. Otherwise there is a wonderful
sense of underlying tension to the intensely soil-driven
broad-shouldered flavors that evidence strikingly fine length on
the palate staining, linear and moderately austere finish. This is
very much built in the mode of a classic Corton-Charlemagne that
offers formidable cellar potential.
