Description
Allen Meadows: The restrained but very pretty nose offers up a
fresh mix of crushed herbs and distinctly earthy red berry fruit
aromas that precede middle weight and muscular flavors that are
delicious, round and detailed with good punch on the dusty and
moderately austere finish. This beautifully complex effort is easy
to like as the ripe if mildly rustic tannins are not so prominent
as to prevent the '08 Clos de la Bussieres from being enjoyed young
if desired though I would personally be inclined to wait for at
least another 7 to 10 years first.
