Allen Meadows: This is more deeply pitched than the Jeunes Roiswith a ripe, cool and airy nose of dark berry fruit liqueur that isliberally laced with plenty of pungent Gevrey style earth notesthat can also be found on the rich, dense and powerful flavors thatpossess a seductive texture thanks to the huge amount of dryextract that also imparts an opulent mouth feel. There is goodstructure here but it's almost invisible at present, again thanksto the abundance of extract. This is an outstanding wine for itslevel and one that will be approachable young but should age verywell too.
