Domaine Dujac Vosne Romanee 1er Malconsorts 2009 Cote de Nuits Burgundy 750ml/Btl 6/case

Description

Allen Meadows: This has not changed all that much from my last
review from 2012 with its highly spiced and ripe nose that speaks
of anise, clove and violet nuances on the pretty mix of blue and
black pinot fruit and plum aromas. The rich, full-bodied and
relatively powerful medium weight plus flavors possess a seductive
and velvety mouth feel that carries over to the delicious, complex
and solidly persistent finale. What surprised me though relative to
my initial impression was a seemingly lack of mid-palate
concentration and while this is by no means dilute, it certainly
didn't appear to have the density that I had originally noted. I
don't know if this bottle was representative but I was frankly a
bit disappointed though I underscore that the wine is still
attractive, just not brilliant.
