Allen Meadows: A very spicy and subtly floral nose that ispresently discreet and wonderfully classy introduces sweet, pureand understated flavors underpinned by noticeable but very finetannins and a mouth coating, indeed palate staining finish. Thereis ample sap to buffer the structure and this is surprisinglydelicious as the l'Arlot RSV normally requires several years toreally be in prime form. An impressive effort that displayedabsolutely no trace of vegetal character on either the nose or thefinish.
