Allen Meadows: A fascinating nose displays notes of blood orange,
smoked game, dried herbs and plenty of Gevrey-style earth character
on the distinctly floral aromas of cassis and dark currant. The
textured and mineral-driven medium weight plus flavors possess a
wonderfully dense and palate coating finale that just goes on and
on. Note well however that this is going to need a lot of patience
before it ready to play nicely in the sandbox.
