Allen Meadows: The airy and overtly spicy nose reflects anabundance of floral influences on the red and dark currant aromas.The mid-palate of the big-bodied flavors is surprisingly supple,even succulent, though this impression contrasts with the firm,serious and robust finish where the tannins are again slightlyraspy and mildly drying. As is the case with several wines in therange, my projected rating accords the benefit of the doubt thiswill eventually harmonize.
