Description
Allen Meadows: The nose carried enough brett to warrant commenting
on along with moderately aged aromas of secondary fruit, earth and
a soft floral hint. There is good verve and detail to the nicely
intense middle weight flavors that possess reasonably good
complexity on the still slightly firm and austere finish. Note that
as the wine aired the brett character became more pronounced and
even began to display notes of band-aid. I have not had this wine
since I originally reviewed it and thus can't offer an opinion as
to whether there is a problems with all bottles or just this one.
Note further that some may find the brett to their liking but for
me I confess that it was too strong.
