Description
Allen Meadows: This is evolving somewhat more slowly than Ioriginally foresaw because while there is some secondarydevelopment to the earthy dark berry fruit aromas trimmed in justenough wood to notice, there is enough primary character remainingto suggest that this is still several years away from its peak. There is fine concentration and volume to the mouth coating andutterly delicious medium-bodied flavors that possess impressivedepth and length. This is not a particularly refined vintage forthis wine but I like the sleek muscularity and power on thelingering finish. Lovely stuff and very much still on the way up.Consistent notes save for one bottle that was quite heavily reducedand even extended airing didn't help much.
