Description
Robert Parker: This wine still has some noticeable tannin, but
shows more weight and richness in a more backward style than the
1996. The aromatics suggest full maturity, with notes of cola,
espresso, caramel, and sweet black cherry and plum fruit. In the
mouth it is medium-bodied with good ripeness, moderate
concentration, and has some light tannins in the finish.
