Allen Meadows: This is both more elegant and cooler than theBoudots with its restrained nose that is composed of assorted redberries, violets and discreet hints of wood spice. The palate ismore refined than usual as the medium-bodied flavors glide acrossthe palate though the dusty finish is quite tight and youthfullyaustere. This is a Clos de Vougeot of refinement but it can't matchthe underlying material or the complexity of the Boudots.
