Description
Allen Meadows: A deft but not invisible touch of wood sets off thenotably ripe, cool and pure nose of various dark berries and plentyof Gevrey style earth and sauvage character. There is lovelyvibrancy to the detailed and delicious middle weight flavors thatare on the lighter and more elegant side in the context of what Itypically find in the 2005 vintage, all wrapped in a lingering, complex, well-balanced and moderately firm finish. While this hasnot quite peaked yet it could be approached now with pleasure andwithout having left too much upside development potential on thetable.
