Allen Meadows: This too displays a markedly cool nose featuringnotes of red pinot, dark currant, floral and an exuberant spicinessthat are trimmed in a discreet application of wood. There is goodvibrancy and excellent delineation to the highly seductive flavorsthat deliver very fine length on the silky and velvet-texturedfinale. Like its 2015 counterpart this is a bold, serious androbust RSV that is clearly built-to-age and is going to need plentyof it. To be sure, this is excellent but it is not cut from thesame "grace and lace" cloth as most examples of the appellation.
