Allen Meadows: A brooding and overtly rustic nose of pungent
iron-infused earth, red currant and dark berries. The mid-palate is
quite supple and round with good concentration to the solidly
complex middle weight flavors that possess good balance and length
if not much in the way of refinement on the notably firm finish.
