Allen Meadows: This has already eaten the majority of its wood
though the taciturn nose is backward, tight and not revealing much
aromatically beyond pure white flower green fruit and subtle spice
aromas. By contrast though, the rich, full and imposingly powerful
flavors possess superb depth of dry extract and huge length on the
detailed, focused and penetrating finish where the minerality is
such that it is akin to rolling small pebbles around in your mouth.
This has everything it needs to be a great Corton-Charlemagne.
