Description
Allen Meadows: A slightly more complex nose features aromas of red
and black fruit plus the same violet and floral notes that continue
onto the spice, anise and pepper-infused middle weight flavors that
are rich, full, fresh and textured with an attractive mouth feel
and a supple yet linear finish. The tannins are firm but not
aggressive and this is very Gevrey in character and I particularly
like the high level of phenolic ripeness but with no surmaturite.
An excellent villages that is worth a look.
