Description
Allen Meadows: The pure and pretty but somber red and black fruit
nose evidences plenty of earth and minerality, both of which are
picked up by the dense, tautly muscled and quite serious big-bodied
flavors brimming with dry extract and supported by very firm
tannins on the moderately austere and mildly herbal finish. This is
a classic Chambertin that is built to age and as such, note well
that ample patience will be required.
